HRFM hosted a group from the Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Office. The Office is a regional government patent office and has 13 city offices in the province. Jiangsu is a province of China on the East coast near Shanghai across the East China Sea from Japan and South Korea. It has been a hot spot for economic development and has the highest population density of all Chinese provinces. HRFM staff and the Chinese visitors discussed IP practice in the US and China and cooperation for the future. The delegates from the Jiangsu IP office spent some time at the US PTO and Cornell University and will be traveling to the West Coast.
